JAECOO J7 WHEELS

For JAECOO J7 wheel hub modifications, special attention should be paid to size compatibility, data compatibility, and installation specifications. The specific operation recommendations are as follows:
1. Rim diameter:
The original hubcap sizes are 17/18/19 inches. For modifications, it is recommended not to exceed the original size by more than 2 inches (i.e., 22 inches as the upper limit), and the tire diameter error must be controlled within ±3%
Wheel rim width (J value): The appropriate rim width should be selected based on the original tire width. For example, if the original tire is 235mm wide, a rim width of 7J or higher is recommended
2- Data Adjustment
---ET value 45 (offset): The original ET value directly affects the degree of wheel hub protrusion or recess. During modification, it is essential to maintain consistency with the original value or adjust it within a reasonable range (e.g., negative ET values are suitable for low-profile styling). It is recommended to choose a value between 0 and 20
---Center hole: The original dimension is 60.1. The new hub center hole must be greater than or equal to the factory size. If it is larger, a spigot ring must be installed
3. Installation Specifications
Remove the old wheel hub: Use specialized tools to detach the tire and original wheel hub, then inspect the fit between the hub and the tire.
Data Verification: Confirm that the PCD (pitch circle diameter), center hole, and ET (offset) values of the new wheel hub match those of the original manufacturer.
Safety Inspection: After installation, inspect the clearance between the brake caliper and the wheel hub, as well as the tire wear, to ensure driving stability and safety.
4-Precautions
Avoid using wheel hubs with load capacities below the original manufacturer's specifications. Prioritize aluminum alloy materials and opt for low-pressure casting, spinning, or forging processes.
5. Wheel hub recommendation:
Strongly recommend the third-generation F1908X wheel hub from the MAT1908 series, available in 17/18-inch sizes with dedicated JAECOO wheel hub data parameters (5*108 PCD).
This wheel hub features high load capacity and lightweight design, making it a great option for off-road enthusiasts.
