The OMODA C9 is the overseas version of Chery EXCEED RX of China,
When modifying wheel hubs, special attention should be paid to size compatibility, data compatibility, and installation standards. The following operational recommendations are provided:
1. Rim diameter:
The original wheel dimensions are 17/18/19 inches. For modifications, it is recommended not to exceed the original size by more than 2 inches (i.e., a maximum of 22 inches), and the tire diameter error must be controlled within ±3%
Wheel rim width (J value): The appropriate wheel rim width should be selected based on the original factory tire width. For example, if the original factory uses a 235mm wide tire, it is recommended to choose a wheel rim width of 7J or higher
2- Data Adjustment
---PCD is 5*108
---ET value 45 (offset): The original ET value directly affects the degree of wheel hub protrusion or recess. During modifications, it should remain consistent with the original or be adjusted to a reasonable range (e.g., negative ET values suit low-profile designs). It is recommended to select a range of 0~20
---Center bore: The original is 60.1. The new hub's center bore must be equal to or larger than the factory size. If it is larger, a step ring must be installed
3- Installation Specifications
Remove the old wheel hub: Use specialized tools to detach the tire and original wheel hub, then inspect the fit between the hub and tire.
Data Verification: Confirm that the PCD (pitch circle diameter), center hole, and ET value of the new wheel rim match those of the original factory specifications.
Safety Inspection: After installation, inspect the clearance between the brake caliper and the hub, as well as the tire wear condition, to ensure driving stability and safety.
4. Precautions
Avoid using hubs with load capacities lower than the original manufacturer's specifications. Prioritize aluminum alloy materials, and opt for low-pressure die casting, spinning, or forging processes.
5. Wheel Hub Recommendation:
Strongly recommend the AGILITYFORCE A726 spun wheel, available in 17/18-inch sizes with dedicated OMODA wheel data parameters (5*108 PCD).
This hub features high load capacity, lightweight design, low fuel consumption, and is suitable for both urban streets and off-road conditions.
