‌1. Wheel Size Selection‌

The factory Tacoma typically comes with 17-inch wheels. When modifying, ensure the new wheels have the same diameter as the factory wheels (e.g., 17 inches) to avoid affecting speedometer calibration. We recommend the AGILITYFORCE WHEELS A715, available in a variety of colors.

 

Rim diameter calculation formula: (tire height × 2) + tire diameter = wheel diameter (e.g., a 185/65R14 tire corresponds to a rim diameter of approximately 596mm). The new wheel diameter deviation should be within ±1%. ‌

‌2. Tire Matching‌

When modifying tires 33 inches or larger, use negative wheels or adjust the suspension height to avoid contact with the wheel arches. ‌

All-terrain tires (such as the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss) or mud-terrain tires are recommended for both off-road performance and durability. ‌
